Whats Up Bab! Hope you are having a great summer so far!

With the summer holidays fast approaching the helpful bunch at Floodgate Towers thought we would put together a guide of the 'Best Activities Birmingham' has to offer. There are so many things in this great city we wanted to take the work out of the research so you could spend more time having fun. Whether your from the West Midlands or making a day trip from the surrounding counties then this guide is for you. You might be looking for Birmingham activities for adults or the great selction of Birmingham activity bars or city has. If you have the little ones with you over the summer you may also be looking for Birmingham activities for kids or fun days out for kids.

Here are some of the best activities to do in Birmingham:

  • Visit the Bullring Shopping Centre. The Bullring is one of the largest shopping centers in the UK, with over 200 stores. It's a great place to find everything from high-end fashion to affordable souvenirs.

  • Play Games At The Floodgate. A short walk from the Bullring will take you to Digbeth, the home of creativity in Birmingham. Pop into The Floodgate (kids allowed on sundays and some school holidays) to race cars on the raceway, play baseball in the cages, play curling on the lanes and last but not least play PitPat in our UV Graffiti arena. • Explore the Jewellery Quarter. The Jewellery Quarter is home to over 800 jewelry businesses, making it the largest jewelry quarter in Europe. You can take a walking tour, visit the Birmingham Museum of Art and Design, or simply wander around and admire the beautiful architecture.

  • Go to a football match. Birmingham is home to two professional football teams, Aston Villa and Birmingham City. If you're a fan of the beautiful game, be sure to catch a match at Villa Park or St. Andrew's.

  • Visit Cadbury World. Cadbury World is a must-visit for any chocolate lover. You can learn about the history of Cadbury, see how chocolate is made, and sample all sorts of delicious treats.
