It's just hit midnight on the 27th March 2022, and something strange has just happened, almost out of Back to the Future. It actually happens twice per year in most places, but not everywhere. Some people say 'Spring Forward & Fall Back' to remember the sequence. Figured out what it is yet? 

We have in fact just mysteriously lost 1 hour and your watch / phone has jumped from 01:00 to 02:00. Dont worry, you have not just been abducted by aliens or been thrown into a time warp, It is of course British Summer time.

Although we may not notice anything happen when the event occurs, you will certainly know something is different by 19:00 on Sunday. Simply look outside your window or go for a walk and you will note our big hot yellow friend is still in the sky (aka the sun).

We now have the exciting prospoect of lighter evenings for the next 6 months, in fact we gain about 1 minute extra per day of sunlight from now until the summer solstice, Tuesday 21st June 2022. We then start losing sunlight from 22nd June until Sunday 30th October 2022, when the clocks 'fall back again'.
