The Floodgate opened its doors 3.5 years ago (1249 days for the mathematicians out there). Where has the time gone? We have always prided ourselves on being pioneers and leading the way in the games we offer. We were the first social baseball venue in Birmingham, the first social Curling venue in Birmingham and the first PitPat (aka crazy golf / table golf) venue not just in Birmingham but in the UK. Bigger brands keep an eye on what we do and usually copy it. However we take this as a compliment. Thats why as we are on the eve of launching our brand new game (again, the first in Birmingham) all eyes will be on us. Arriving this May we can introduce 'The Floodgate Raceway'

What is it?

Have you ever wanted to know what it feels like to be Lewis Hamilton or Max Verstappen as they whizz around the F1 track at insane speeds? Do you want the taste of glory without the danger or G-Force? Well, you are in luck; Introducing The Floodgate Raceway. A 10-seater fully immersive racing experience to battle it out with your family, friends, or even your competitive 'frenemies' (think Scalextric on steroids). Take a seat in your racing bucket seat and choose from an awesome range of race-ready cars to give you the best chance of victory. Rev your engines and BOOK NOW. Online bookings from 12th May.

How does it work?

When you book online a pre-paid contactless race card will be issued upon arrival for the specified amount. Please note your selected time is your card collection time and not race time, as the raceway will be first come first served. Once you collect your card you will be able to join the queue to race (don't worry you can grab a drink and food, we will hold your place). Your prepaid card will have enough credit for several games, not just on the raceway but other new exciting games in the venue, including Basketball, Ice Hockey & Football.
